I saw on tele this evening an ad saying Classic Hits has a comp starting monday to win one of five (I think it was 5) Suzuki Swift cars...

did anyone else spot it or have more info..

I searched their website but couldn't find anything

the ad is running on tele but there is nothing on their website
from what I can guess they are running a song every hour, which if you are caller ? you might win a car

oh my gosh! thats huge! but its next to impossible to get through their line... Its perpetually busy or lines jammed...

I think the Suzuki Swift contest is a have. I'm a truck driver in Christchurch and hear Classic Hits for part of the day. Do you notice they never give the location of where the car is won. That's because they are live from each city until 10am. From then on they broadcast soley from Auckland. Hence the use of an 8088 number after 10am rather than the local number.Using today's technology the announcer records a local forecast for each city to make it sound like they are local. The reason they don't give the location of each winner is too make it sound as if they are being won in your area. I don't mind them pretending they are live from each district however I would like to know where the cars are going, too make sure they are not all going to Auckland. Don't think I'm against Auckland because I'm not. It's there sheer size of the population there that increases the chances of more prizes going there. That's ok but I think as intelligent listeners we are entitled to know where the cars are going. Rang my local C/H's station and got the run around, she wasn't going to tell me what I already knew. Try ringing your local station. Phew, now with that off my chest I feel better. Cheers.
