Okay, so I got an email today from NZgamer, as soon as I saw it I got very excited, since the title had 'Nzgamer Competition' so I thought I'd won. Turns out it was telling me my name had been drawn (1 of 5) and in order to win the prize (NZGamer.com - Win TNA DVDs and Tickets to IPW!) I had to be the first person to email in AND I HAD to live in auckland, which wasn't stated when I entered (so I couldn't give it to a friend and I couldn't just claim the DVD's)

Is it wrong that I feel kinda bummed? I mean, not only did they not state I had to be in auckland to win, I have to almost 'win twice' to actually get anything, and in the end I couldn't even get the dvds if I emailed in first. And no, the 4 losers who don't win don't even get a dvd.

Gee, that sounds like a sucky way to run a competition. I haven't won off NZ Gamer yet so I can't tell you if it's like that on all of them. Whatever happened to giving the prize to one person and one person only?

I know. I mean I could understand if it was you know those modelling competitions or something that took skill to have finalists, but I just don't get this at all o.0

Bummer! I won too, and like you had to give up the whole prize. Lame isn't it! I was so excited too.

I would email them and tell them that wasnt stated in the T&Cs...there are two of you that won here so maybe give it a go.

Trouble is you can't read the T&C anymore so I can't be 100% sure, but I mean, it wasn't written anywhere on the page like you'd normally find with a competition which is location specific. Hmm maybe I should write? Try get free stuff xD

Aw that sucks, sorry to hear that guys. Personally I agree thats a realy dumb way to host a competition!
