Default Huge warning

Okay, I'm not normally the type of person to do this, but I am fuming.

I saw a trial for Acai berry stuff, you know magical weight loss things? So I paid shipping and handling and got it. Tried it for about a week and a half, not a single change in weight or energy. If you don't return with in 28 days, you get charged like $80 so I email for the return address. It's taken me over 15 emails and they STILL haven't provided a return address. I'm having to suspend my card just so I don't get charged. They're doing everything to stop me returning the product.

So DON'T even trial these! It's HELL

Thats spam mail? Normally the scammers don't send anything & just charge the credit card to its limit... It's called phishing & I'm surprised you fell for it.. or that anyone falls for it... Those berries are no more nutritious by weight than apples or kiwifruit btw...

This same thing happened to my daughter...must be a slightly different company tho', as they just kept sending more & more product, but charging her the earth for them...
Its easy to get sucked into things...I have to constantly remind myself...if something looks too good to be true it usually is...
Hope you get it sorted out??!!

I feel for you, there was a thread on Trade Me about this a few weeks ago, there were a lot who were finding they were being charged continually, and the banks would not cancel their cards. Hope you get it sorted

Aww that sucks Snazzy. Sucky people

Same thing happened to Mumof2 with Dazzle White. Ended up costing her $ and had to cancel credit cards. Unless it is a reputable NZ company giving out a freebie I seriously wouldn't bother following one up, not worth the stress or possibility of what could happen to your details.

I'm canceling my card tomorrow. I tried another one business a while ago, which was far better since it actually has a return address in NZ and gave me the return address within 5 minutes. Just glad its so easy for me to cancel my card!
