Well - If your father has bought the paper, I am sure that the Sunday Star Times won't have any issues with me telling you that there are four competitions in the Escape section this week with two on each of pages 3 & 32

Geez that's a shame ... wondered what happened to you yesterday.
First Farrah, then MJ and now this what an end to the week!!
I really appreciate all the effort you put in every weekend azpen. Looking on the brightside you've now got all this new found spare time? ha ha.

That's really funny what you said to the sticky beak old lady sweetypie. I mean it's not like you were parked in a disabled spot or anything..!?

Curses to all those damn fun police.

I think it absolutely appalling that these requests are being made. What happened to freedom of speech? I do not have to buy a copy of a newspaper or a magazine to read it. I can go to the library, read a family copy, a friends, read it at work etc... I don't have to buy my own TV to watch a programme. This is a forum like many on the web. Do the papers ask us not to discuss and share the news, the obituaries, the book reviews, the tv pages? No. We are free to read and share this published information. I would imagine the papers have absolutely no legal right to make these requests yet we lie back and comply and say how sad it is. Is this the way we would behave if someone asked that we no longer shared the food we purchased? We are being walked over. The newspapers run competitions to sell more copies. It is very simple for newspapers to stop people entering if they make them coupon only. They are simply too greedy and lazy to employ someone to do the necessary processing. It makes me so mad that everyone is sitting back saying "too bad". What are you all so afraid of? NZ is one country where we do have rights. Don't let these marketing bods dictate what we have to do when it is none of their business!

Here's a little poem that I thought would brighten everyone's day - wherever you are in New Zealand.

When you're lonely, I wish you LOVE
When you're sad, I wish you JOY
When you're discouraged, I wish you HOPE
When your spirit is low, I wish you BEAUTY
When you're troubled, I wish you PEACE

Hey thanks for posting that Napier Girl - I just saw your poem now - and I was feeling sad from a stinky email - and you put a smile back on my face - thanks
    Good Luck

    Unfortunately we have more

    Hi
Please stop including promotions from Fairfax publications on your website. These include the Sunday Star-Times (which I think you have now said should not be posted, thank you) Sunday News, TV Guide, Dominion Post and Press promotions. I believe you have also been asked in the past not to post promotions and competitions from Fairfax Magazines - if you would like me to list those titles and the other key Fairfax titles, please let me know.

Our promotions are designed to increase circulation and readership by providing opportunities for our readers to win fantastic giveaways. Neither we nor our promotional partners have agreed to have our competitions and promotions endorsed on third-party websites like this one.

We appreciate that your users are trying to publicise a variety of giveaways, but this is unauthorised and undermines the value of the promotions for us.
    Good Luck

I'm not sure what ones are the Fairfax Magazines or other key Fairfax titles so I'll email her to see - I do believe that trademe is owned by fairfax - but they don't often have competitions anyway I guess

I'll let you know the rest when I know
