Default Mrs Christmas - christmas hampers - going into liquidation

Was meaning to put this up yesterday but forgot and LX just reminded me..

anyone using Mrs Christmas - the food package delivery christmas hamper thing?

Heard yesterday that they have gone into liquidation - and supposedly customers won't miss out on money they have given - but I reckon to be on the safe side if you are a customer you might want to at least stop any automatic payments for the moment - or at least ring someone and check whats up

apparently chrisco is offering a life line to mrs christmas clients.

BUT there is a hook if you take up their offer.

not wanting to pre-judge their offer or the merit of hamper service , i only suggest clients read the fine print of whether continuing is suitable for you.

I also get vouchers... (im getting new world this year, but got countdown last year) its WAY better and you get 5% discount on your total spend as well.... and you can use them earlier if you have a family emergency in october or something!

I worked out the cost of the chrisco and mrs christmas clubs one year and you paid 3 times what it would cost at the supermarket!
