As proud Kiwis who are more than a little enthusiastic about our national rugby team, what could be better than a free All Blacks jersey for your recent addition to the All Blacks mad population?
If your baby is born on the day of an All Blacks home test match between 7 June and 13 September 2008 and is registered on the national birth registry, go to http://www.thisisnotajersey.com/ to claim your child's birthright - an Adidas limited edition All Blacks jersey so your baby can wear the silver fern with pride. You can even submit a photo of your baby wearing the jersey for display on the website. Unfortunately it may bring back memories of the day of the birth as you tried to explain to your partner that you can not cross your legs until the fulltime whistle before going to the hospital because the baby is coming NOW! This is not a Jersey

My wife had a baby at 11.15 on the 3rd of September, the AB's v Samoa, I registered on the website on the 5th; to date, no jersey.
Called them, to be directed to an automated phone system to leave a message, did so (2 weeks ago) and no response. Faxed them yesterday (is run by Adidas as this is where the phone message takes you) and am awaiting a reply.... Anyone else actually received a jersey or know someone who has and how long it took? Oh bummer TR2008
- that sucks - hope they get back to you hopefully there might be some others on here that can let you know ![]() had a look at their website and the adidas one - they sure make it hard to get hole of them - I reckon while you are waiting for a reply you might want to send a letter to adidas-Salomon AG, Adi-Dassler-Str. 1-2, 91074 Herzogenaurach, Germany - although I don't know how much that would cost ![]() ![]() Was the number you tried Auckland 2597700? |

yeah the main Adidas site certainly doesnt appear easy to navigate or find contact numbers for.
Yes that phone number was the one called (is on a card they gave us at the hospital to register for it) I even contacted the NZRU to pass on a message to get the 'thisisnotajersey' Marketing people to contact me, again, no response. Thanks on the congrats, is baby #2, a girl to go with the boy |

My wife prefers Richie McCaw....
I think they did get a couple of AB's (Leon McDonald & Greg Somerville) to take out the first couple early in the year as part of the 'promotion' but I don't think that has happened for any of the others. |
