haiz.

If anyone knoes any job opportunities or is hiring please let me know!

flexible on location as I have no ties to any particular area, grew up in blockhousebay so I live in New Lynn atm but this place is unrecognizable now -_- so moving is no drama, anywhere cept south auckland prettymuch.

I am an intelligent dudeguy and I can do anything; within reason of course as we all know some jobs require a lot of training like being a doctor lol but im sure i could figure that out over time just depends on how many people would have to die before i did (i like joeks).

Have sales experience (internal), 3D design/game development, worked as project manager on a couple of projects, also involved as a level designer for the most popular half-life2 mod of all time. Video production experience (well versed in methods and common apps ie. vegas, premiere etc...). Writing experience (esports reporting, literature). Intermediate skill with html/css/php coding. Intermediate with photoshop etc... I can learn anything, everything I know I am self-taught prettymuch lol and it aint hard these days anyway as the net is an amazing resource for everything.

So yeah, can do most things, willing to work most places, very intuitive, natural leadership, critical thinker, strong management abilities.

Any leads or opportunities appreciated friends

thanks jo, ill defo app to all those jobs, that content coordinator job.. wow im probably uber experienced for that as ive run massive gaming websites before rofl.

and I could have had a career in game development already, I am very very very experienced but I am a level designer, I consider it an art and like any art you can't force it; when you do you produce mediocre work. I could never see myself doing a 9-5 level design job... I'd only get back into game development if I could lead/manage/coordinate development but NZ doesn't have much of a game dev scene, I considered all this when I moved back home from Australia... I knew I was coming back to a virtually non existent industry.

Hmm thats a hard industry to get into aye!
I've been into computers all my life, and have just finished a Diploma of Interactive media which is Flash and Actionscript, etc and Ive given up finding a job in it. Instead Im just designing my own games for fun and trying to find sponsorship for them.

Theres a good site called 99 Designs - might be able to pick up some work there, it kinda sucks that youre not guaranteed to get paid but you might get some good projects out of it. I personally havent used it though have heard good things about it and am considering trying it when ive got time.
99designs » Leading Marketplace for Logo Designs and More…

If youve got a portfolio, you could try places like Sidhe interactive (in welly) and just see if they'l hang onto your CV and consider you.

If i think of any more, will let you know. , and good on you for not giving up and taking the easy way out.

well requiem you see sir, I was a 3D artist and as I stated in a previous post I have no desire to do that for a living. All my best work has come from being passionate about particular projects, I had a trial with a developer in Australia and I was working on some crap cartoon based game for playstation; it sucked and I hated forcing myself.

do not want.
